This was one of my first complicated robotics projects built from scratch. It's entirely 3D printed and sanded down to be smooth. It holds two servo motors, an audio SD card device, a speaker and an Arduino Nano. I learned many Japanese phrases and pitched them up after recording them. Unfortunately, I accidentally fried out the mouth servo motor the night before Christmas eve but had already glued it in place. I learned the important lesson that, to quote Adam Savage, "screw > glue".
My cousin had shown me a video of a Japanese robot whilst laughing historically so I decided it was my duty to make her a demented cheap copy (the original costs $4,500).
