About WILE-E
I built this robot during my residency at Town Hall Seattle in the fall-winter of 2024. They debuted in a solo performace titled "The Black Box" on Great Hall stage of Town Hall Seattle. The full performance and subsequent presentation can be watched below.
In the performance, WILE-E shook inside a box while the audience took their seats. At the start of the performance WILE-E exits the box and explores the stage --their perspective being projected on the large screen behind them. Eventually looking into the audience, they examined the faces in the crowd.
